As an orphan with a tough background, my heart sought out for the vulnerable children in a sorry plight due to many misfortunes.
I started this dream but was limited in service until a helping hand through combined effort with loving partners , we have pulled us off the ground to a state of establishment. This partnership continues and now we celebrate many young lives guaranteed a bright future. As partners, our efforts are directed towards providing opportunities to unfortunate young ones with passion and potential, but lack the opportunity. We now boast of a strong team on ground here in Uganda working day and night to offer the desired services to our kids and help in other activities.
Mr Otoko is the current local chairman of our village and has a great heart for the community in need. Born and raised in abject poverty, he broke the trend and is now determined to help many have a brighter future. He believes now is the time for working smart in all fields rather than working hard, for knowledge well harnessed is power that creates a difference in our small spheres and then to the environment.

My name is Annet Kayaga, I am 25 years old and from Jinja. I have been a primary school teacher in Mafubira for 3 years. I came to be involved with MCDCC through a family friend who put me in touch with the charity when I expressed an interest in volunteering with orphans. I felt that my skills as a teacher will be welcomed over in MCDCC. I have spent two years working with the children who MCDCC supports, teaching them English, playing with them and learnt about their life.

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mukopi Samuel. The essence of who I am is strengthened and uplifted when I am given the opportunity to meet a need and this is the life I now live looking after children which I perceive as the greatest opportunity.
Life didn’t not provide a straight path for me and I almost thought I had missed out on all of my dreams until I discerned that I could achieve all these through helping others achieve theirs.
enthusiasm have made him a powerful dynamo in the progress and success of this organisation. He believes in teamwork being the strength to any organization and has always worked hand in hand with the teams on ground in different villages to realize different resolutions.
They are the most amazing group of people and children and I feel very honoured and proud to be a trustee of this amazing charity.
